The Mission Behind the Miles
Kyra never got to turn 13.
For three and a half years, she fought a childhood cancer with fierce bravery. When her fight was over, she gave one final gift: she donated her body to science so her tumor samples could keep working to save the next child.
This July, Kyra’s light will travel 206 miles from Seattle to Portland.
Vivaan, her 14-year-old close friend, will ride with his parents as our Youth Ambassador, turning his personal grief into heroic action. To launch this journey, Kyra’s father, Gautam, will join shoulder-to-shoulder with her young friend, carrying a father’s love and heartbreak as they roll out together.
Every mile sponsored on this page directly supports Kyra’s Hope Foundation, bringing comfort, dignity, and relief to families facing cancer today through personalized Hope Boxes and financial relief, while helping accelerate research for better treatments tomorrow.
