IRS Recognition

Kyra's Hope Foundation is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law using EIN 41-2583689.

Board Oversight

Our volunteer Board of Directors reviews finances, approves grants, and ensures every program aligns with Kyra's mission of comfort, dignity, and research progress.

Restricted Funds

Gifts designated for comfort kits, milestone wishes, or research are tracked in separate cost centers and may only be used for the purpose selected by the donor.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

We publish annual financial snapshots, program outcomes, and research grants so supporters can see how every dollar is invested.

Annual Form 990: Filed with the IRS each spring. Our 2025 filing (Form 990-EZ) is linked below.
Independent Review: We engage an external CPA firm each fiscal year to review financials and verify donor restrictions.
Gift Acknowledgements: Receipts are issued for every contribution and include the tax-deductible amount plus our EIN for your records.
Privacy & Data: Contact, medical, and payment details are stored in encrypted systems. We never sell or rent supporter data.
